Visit Orrcha in Madhya Pradesh

One of the beautiful historical places in M.P is Orrcha. This place is located near to jhansi near M.P/U.P border. Here Bundelkand ruled this place, where in Indian history no importance is given. The great Mughal Ruler Akbar tried to capture this place 4 times but was badly defeated. Here salem, son of Akbar were hidden when Abu fazal came to capture him. But Abu Fazal was killed by Raja Bir Singh and his head was presented to salem, (jahangir) as present. Then jehangir and Raja Bir Singh became good friends. The places to visit are Raj Mahal, Jehangir Mahal, Ram Mandir, Chatturbuj temple, Laxmi-Narayan Temple, prison & 14 Chettris. Its just 1 hour from jhansi station. You can stay in hotels with about Rs. 600/couple per day. Food is less costly where a family can have dinner with Rs. 600. You can see these places with a rented cab or your own.
